A Day at the Office

On Mondays and Thursdays, when Clara is at daycare, Charlie comes with me to the office.  Some days are productive and some are not, but it's always nice to have his company.  Charlie will start daycare on February 21st, and I will miss days like this.

On the Mend and On the Move

On Wednesday, Charlie woke up with a fever of 101.  He's had a cold for a couple weeks and now has his first ear infection.  He's not even in daycare yet.  Poor guy.  A couple days on the antibiotic and he's feeling much better.  In fact, he was very ambitious today and decided to roll over for the first time!  It must have been a lot of work, because he was sure vocal about it.

A Winter Hike

Since we live so close to Pat's Peak ski resort, one of Clara's favorite things to do is watch the skiers.  A quick walk to the end of our road and through the trees and you are on the ski hill.  It's a nice little walk, but if you're following Clara, you're not actually getting any exercise.  So, in an effort to get the blood pumping a little, Jared volunteered to carry her in the backpack on the snowshoe trail.  The weight limit on the pack is 40 pounds.  Clara weighed in at 35.  Her feet touch the ground, but she loved it.  It was a beautiful day for a hike.
